Litter B - rok 2003

The time of the litter belongs to the saddest periods of our breeding station.

On July 22, to our great pleasure there were born 16 puppies (11 dogs, 5 bitches).

Our happiness lasted a short time. The fifth day after the birth a severe infection burst out (we still don´t know why), and in two weeks it totally damaged the whole litter. In spite of all possible and impossible efforts of us and our vet 15 puppies died. The only dog was left - Branwel z Netluckých pastvin. In the beginning of October he set on a far trip overseas leaving us in tears. He found a new home in kind hands of the Lačný family in Chicago. I am in touch with the new owner, we regularly speak on the phone, and both they and we enjoy our Brenie alias Rocky, who, despite his difficult start, grows (at 8 months 86 cm, 68 kg) into a peaceful and nice dog.

We sincerely hope he would live a beautiful life of an Irish Wolfhound, the life his sibblings will never have ...
